Two nice examples of sandstone walls. Note the original silvered oak gate. Sadly the wall is being eroded by traffic pollution.

The castellated example below has mellowed wonderfully.

The final example shows a striking contrast, though the further one is not sandstone - it appears to be an early concrete aggregate type - it has aged well, it is certainly preferable to the crude brick recent addition that now butts on.
